So it looks like the Shinkendo Shit-for-brains Sensei in Boston just doesn't get it. Hey Shafty, don't you get it? Your students didn't join a cult, they just wanted to learn the crappy style of Shinkendo, they didn't sign up to follow your commands or have you sticking your nose in their personal lives. Emails, comments and discussions continue to be had about the infamous Boston Shinkendo Dojo and its Sensei, "Little Shafty"   ( one whom many describe as a loon ), are all over Social media. So we thought we would interview some former students and caught up with several of them this past weekend at one of the "Gathering of Former Shinkendo Students". Here is some paraphrasing of what we learned. 1.)  "I remember we used to do an annual Christmas party and Shafty would setup a table in the dojo with himself at the head, and he would first put on this brown Kimono type vest and array himself as if he was a feudal lord. He would them preside over the party with pseudo Japanese mimicked pomp and circumstance, making a total BUFFOON out of himself. The students REALLY HATED all this nonsense and would laugh for hours about it often chatting in their WhatsAPP group about what a clown Shafty is." 2.) In a recent interview with a "former"  Boston Shinkendo student we discussed the Katana skills of the instructor and students. Here is his opinion of the skill level at that dojo: "Ok, let me first say this, splitting that lame dojo and getting far away from that idiot shafty was the smartest thing I have ever dumb. Joining that school in the first place was clearly the dumbest. We all make mistakes and you learn from them I guess... I won't go on about all the things that in my opinion suck about that school, there are tons of those reports all over social media. I will talk about a time back in 2019 when we did a Tameshigiri exercise in the dojo, this was before the infamous nightmare Horror at Honbu Dojo trip. Shafty was billing this day as some great favor to the students and how it was a such a great honor for us to be cutting wet tatami mats for the first time under his great tutelage.   For some very strange reason little shifty the infamous and despised instructor at the widely hated dojo Boston Shinkendo, Seems to believe he stands to gain by posting bogus yelp reviews and or having his students like James, a.k.a. Jimmy Yelpster Post clearly marketing style pro BS Dojo reviews! Do they put that much stock in Yelp as a way to bring students to what many feel is the absolute worst Dojo in all of New England and  probably the United States of America? Does idiot Shafty think even posting a thousand Fake Yelp reviews is going to stop people from learning the real experiences of students there? That dude is delusional and so are his boot lickers. What can be more wretched than a dojo that professes to be "Authentic Japanese" posting silly "Heart Felt" nonsense on Twitter and other social media sites in an attempt to give people the sense that the school has positive values? There are actual RESPECTED WEBSITES that have full expose's and articles about this very dojo. By now, anyone even remotely familiar with all the idiotic antics that occurred regularly at the Boston Shinkendo Shoshinkan dojo , knows that the Sensei there is a bit of a dumb ass. He is known as Boot Licker Shafteee for his idol worship of the guy from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... One day after a boring class and the obligatory circle of students, the time Shafteee used to pontificate about his own self perceived importance, students were talking about the construction of Japanese Katana. Well old Shit-For-Brains-Shafteee told the students that Obata was the one who invented the use of (2) two mekugi pins to hold the tsuka (handle) in place. LMAO, despite the fact that you can find thousands of photos of ancient swords, going back hundreds of years with two Mekugi pins, this dumb ass claims Obata invented it...
