It has been reported to us that several Shinkendo students and instructors from dojos in the US and Europe have been inquiring as to the history behind the Boston Shinkendo dojo scandals.

We have heard that some Sensei's are even actively avoiding that dojo and Little Shafteeeee, so as not to be caught up in the the controversy.

Hmmmm, we wonder, does Little Shafteeee still fantasize about being a well respected Martial arts instructor? Is it still his goal to have a large Shinkendo dojo with many students kow-towing to him and worshipping him?
That his kids will take on the mantle as great shinkendo instructors.

Despised Boston Shinkendo Sensei NOT invited to Tameshigiri Party!

Boston Shinkendo Students hold annual Summer party but ditch the lame Sensei! It was reported to be a FULL HOUSE of current and former Boston Shinkendo students who attended their annual summer barbecue this year. The party is usually a festive one with good food, and special activities, last year we are told it was a blacksmithing event, this year was a full on Tameshigiri party. Conspicuously absent from the party was Shaffee aka "Little Shafty" and this was by design.  This sensei is so despised and disliked by current and former Boston Shinkendo students that they all voted to DITCH him and not send an invite to him or his kids. The feedback was that the party was the 'best ever" some of the comments reported to us were: "Our Tameshigiri cuts were spot on since we self trained and dump all that crap Shafty tried to teach."
