Boston Shinkendo Self Destructive Behavior, Drama and Utter Stupidity Ruin Dojo
By now there has been so much chatter and so much reporting on what many see as utter shamefulness, stupidity, and nonsense at this ISF licensed dojo, that most people reading this article probably won't be surprised to learn that almost all of his former students gave little shafty the finger when he made a roundabout plea to them via txt msg and private calls.

However recently Little Shafty reopened his dingy little dojo in Bostons Chinatown district, he was probably all excited because his main rival and respected Dojo Modern Samurai in NYC was struggling due to the pandemic, and lost their space, so this was the dumb-assess chance to be the main ISF licensed dojo on the east coast.
However what good is having a dojo with hardly any students?
The reports we received from our sources among the former students is that they think Shafy is a joke and refuse to ever train with him again.

Here is some paraphrasing of what they told us:
"Are you kidding me? That dojo sucks, that dude shafty is a weirdo, and creepy! He's all frail and weak looking, that guy is hardly someone I would want to learn a Samurai art from, I could learn more about Japanese sword from a door knob"
"His insane self destructive behavior permeated all aspects of the training there and made it a miserable place to learn, even if he ever actually taught something"
"Couldn't stand that guy, pushing his stupid political beliefs, nonsense opinions about things that have nothing to do with Shinkendo or martial arts, the guy was annoying."
" I got tired of watching this guy yell at his kids, berate students, play mind games with people, what jerk"
"From my perspective there is absolutely nothing in that dojo that resembles a traditional Japanese dojo, no code of honor, no proper teaching curriculum, total anarchy and drama"

"A bunch of us started attending seminars at other schools and styles, it has been such a breath of fresh air to deal with real instructors, both skilled in their art, and skilled in how to teach it, rather than all that drama we had to put up with Shafty. Well, this is just some of what they had to say. We are also told many are upset about racially charged comments and statements he made to certain students, this is supposedly coming out in a Martial Arts Blog soon.
So with all this said, we leave it to you the reader and martial artists who may have an interest in Japanese sword to determine if this is an environment they wish to learn in.
Clearly for the former students of Boston Shinkendo Dojo, it is not.
