But we had the opportunity to speak with a former student a from this dojo about her experience training there.

Interviewer: So is Boston Shinkendo really that bad?

Student: Yes! I really tried hard to be opened minded about the dojo and Shaffee the Sensei, but I was

Never comfortable there, and the training felt like it was going nowhere.

I: How was the curriculum?

S:Terrible, very inconsistent, no set pattern, and very chaotic instruction

I: Was the Sensei good at Shinkendo?

S: We thought so at first until we went to Honbu dojo and  saw that every other Sensei there was better than him, even students from other schools were far better.

I: Are the stories about him yelling like a lunatic at his kids true?

S: All true, he would come late to dojo, start nit picking on the students yelling at his two kids, complaining about nothing, saying we were disrespecting him all the time, and nobody even knew what he was talking about.

I: We heard he would try to dictate to-students what they could do in their personal life outside the dojo?

S: Yes, one time he showed up a BBQ one of the students had and told us we were not allowed to practice,certain things without his permission, even in our own homes.

I: WOW he seems like quite a control freak...

S: Ass%$&* is more like it!
